Partner with Camp Evergreen and support the dream of Christian camping
For pictures of the cabin progress, please see our blog. We're keeping it up to date! Head on over to camp-evergreen.blogspot.com Cabin Fever! was announced with excitement and flourish back in 2009. In the intervening months, we faced some set backs, but we are thrilled to let you know that the Cabin Fever! project is now progressing steadily and successfully! We're grateful that our current cabins have held up in the meantime and we'll keep nursing them along so that they're safe and functional accommodations for our guests and campers as we finish the new cabins. We have sixteen cabins, that sleep six or seven people, right now, and are replacing them with 12 larger cabins, that will sleep 12 people each. We expect that the first two cabins will be ready for occupancy by Christmas 2011, at which point we'll take current cabins 12-14 off line. We're so pleased by all the support we've received for this project already, and we look forward to working with you more as the project continues to unfold. And continue to unfold it will! As we have updates, we are putting out a one page newsletter. Please email Kerry if you'd like to be added to the Cabin Fever! newsletter list. The newsletters are also posted below, for your information and convenience.
We'd like to acknowledge the Government of Alberta, through its Community Spirit Program, for providing us with a $25,000 grant for the Cabin Fever! project in 2011.
