Pond Hockey is a great day: it's a little competitive, we work hard at keeping it friendly and its a whole lot of fun. Bring your family to cheer you on! Returning for this year is our kids competition - don't forget your skates.
Our goal (slight pun intended) at Evergreen is to draw kids, youth and families to Christ; Pond Hockey supports that exciting, valuable ministry!
WHAT'S NEW FOR 2015?
New for 2015 is the opportunity to play under the lights. Haven't you always dreamed as a kid to play outside and under the lights? We would like to start the tournament Friday night with as many teams as possible to create more time in the schedule Saturday. Whether your team plays Friday night or not, all players are welcome to spend the night. It could save you an early start Saturday morning!
New for 2015 will be a silent auction, an excellent way to support the tournament without lacing up a skate!
Also new for 2015 is a strong rumor of an organ! Think, da, da, da, da, da (repeat)
ITS TIME TO START GETTING YOUR TEAM TOGETHER
Send a few emails, texts and make a couple calls and get the team together for an incredible day of Pond Hockey to support Camp Evergreen. Our goal this year is to raise $30,000.
To enter a team:
- e-mail Taylor at apd@camp-evergreen.com to register
- find 3-5 people to join your team
- start fundraising - each team needs a minimum of $1,000 to enter
SKATING SOLO? Send Taylor your information and we will find you a team.
CAN'T SKATE? Don't worry! Consider sponsoring your favourite team. Help us raise our goal of $30,000! Or you can join us for our (new) Silent Auction, a great way to support Pond Hockey. You can also join us as a volunteer. We will need help inside (kitchen) and outside (ice maintenance etc.)
REGISTER TODAY! We were close to full last year, so don't wait too long to register. Our goal for this year is 12 teams. Will Team Lendrum be able to stretch their Top Sponsored record to three years running? Will the Procrastinators repeat their Championship? Join us on Friday and Saturday, January 9 and 10, 2015 to find out.
