Summer Kickoff Family Camp

Registration Opens February 8, 2023 at 9am

Our Family Camps are an amazing way to get away from the city or your daily life and get outside. It's a fantastic time to meet new families, play in our amazing wilderness setting, and experience camp together.

When: June 30th - July 3rd, 2023

Check in Friday evening and wrapping up on Monday after lunch.

What is it?

This camp is a 3 night Camp designed specifically for families. There is time to relax, rest and just enjoy the property if that's what your looking for or you can fill your time up with all of our exciting games and activities. Come connect with other families, explore creation and grow in your faith. Throughout the weekend we have a a number of programs where we will join together in worship and learn together with one of our fantastic speakers.

Activities: 

Our wonderful staff will be leading all of our activities throughout the weekend. You will be able to drop in and participate in Trail Rides, Archery, Zipline, High Ropes, Climbing Wall, Canoeing, Hatchet Throwing, Survival Skills, Crafts, Paintball & more! Don’t forget about wide games, and JUG & JOG for the whole family to participate in.

Accommodations:

You can either choose to stay in one of our rustic or modern cabins or you can choose to bring an RV and stay in one of our RV lots. The cabins facilities are heated, have electricity and contain 6 or 12 bunks. They do not have running water or a wash-room in the cabins. Not to worry though as our washroom facility/shower house is located only a short distance from any cabin.

Food:

Camp Evergreen has an excellent kitchen team to provide all meals & snacks throughout the weekend. Please ensure to indicate on your registration form if you have any specific dietary needs and rest assured that our experienced chef will be able to provide the food that’s right for you. At Evergreen we value being able to gather together and connect in the dining hall over meals and the cost for meals is included in your registration. You are welcome to bring your own snacks but please keep in mind that we are a nut aware facility. Cooking stoves and the like are not permitted to be used inside the cabins.

What to Bring:

Accommodations do not include bedding so be sure to bring your sleeping bag/blanket and pillow. You will also want your toiletries along. Bring your Bible and Notebook for our programs. It’s wise to prepare for any weather as it can change pretty quickly around here. Additional items you may want to consider bringing are boards games and bikes for our new mountain bike trail! Finally don’t forget to invite your FRIENDS along!

Pets:

Pets are not allowed on-site. Please leave dogs, cats, goats, etc... at home.

2023 Family Camp Pricing Structure (Prices do not include GST):

Starts with a base Accomodation Fee:

• RV Site: $120
• One side of Large Cabin: $135 (Sold Out- please clal to be put on a waiting list)
• Large Cabin: $180 (Sold Out- please clal to be put on a waiting list)

Then there is a charge/person:

• Adult: $190
• Child (5-17): $115

Pricing Note: Over the past year we have spent considerable time calculating what it truly costs to run camp. In an effort to bring our prices closer to the true cost of camp you may notice a price increase from previous years. That being said our camps are still being subsidized by 30-40% through our generous donors.

Campership Aid & Payment Plans: We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to attend camp. Campership Aid is available for those who can not afford the cost of camp. If you would like to apply for campership aid please contact main@camp-evergreen.com or indicate it on your registration. We have Payment Plans available. Simply contact our office and create a payment plan that allows you to spread the cost of camp over up to 5 months.
