Spring and Summer Applications

We are looking for passionate, fun-loving, church-going, born-again Christian Staff. You should love kids, dressing up, playing crazy games, staying up late, getting up early, and MOST OF ALL, sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ with all of our campers. If you can say yes to all except maybe getting up early (because...really, who actually loves getting up early...but we do it because we love Jesus, kids, and camp) then you should keep reading and then click the Summer Staff Application. Most Leadership Positions and some Staff Team Positions are hired for four months. During May and June, staff will be teaching and facilitating our Outdoor Education Program for schools, Girl Guides, Scouts, and independent rentals. During these two months, the Leadership Team will also have time to plan their summer programs. Staff that join us in May form the core of our staff in July and August. Positions that are not listed under the Leadership Team, such as Cabin Leaders, Out-Trip Leaders, A-Team Members, or Wranglers, may also be hired for four months and primarily facilitate on our Outdoor Education Programs in May and June.

Applicants who are 17 years old – we do have some positions for applicants who are 17 years or older. Please check out our job descriptions on the top drop-down menu to see which positions are available to you. If you have not taken our Internship Program, we would ask that you do that program first before considering a full summer with us.

Volunteers who would like to be Cabin Leaders - you are required to fill out the main Staff Application (link found below).

All Staff are required to be ready and willing to share the Gospel while working at camp. All positions are expected to help in creating the best week for each one of our guests (campers). Regardless of working on maintenance, the barn, in a cabin, or in the kitchen – ever position revolves around creating the best camp experience for our guests (campers) and sharing Jesus with each and every one of them.


In addition to your application, we will require:

1. A Criminal Record Check (CRC) plus a Vulnerable Sector Search (VSS) from your local RCMP or city police. Just go in and ask them for a Criminal Record Check and that you'll be working with kids. They'll do your CRC and VSS at the same time. This may cost you money - if you're volunteering (not getting paid) during the summer please contact me and I will send you a cover letter that will get you the check for free or almost free.

2. Child Intervention Check. This is done at your local Child and Family Services office NOT the police station. It's a completely separate check done through the provincial government. This check is ONLY for our staff who are 18 or over. 3. Standard First Aid. All of our staff need to have Standard First Aid with Level C CPR to work here.

Application deadline for FOUR MONTH has been extended to April 5th, 2018.

Application deadline for TWO MONTH is May 15th, 2018. If you are looking to volunteer with us during the summer - you are still required to fill out our application and complete our Safe Place Checks listed at #1 and #2 above.
