Upcoming Events & Retreats

  • You'll get to spend three nights and four days making new friends, playing games, singing songs and doing activities, including the climbing wall, pony rides, canoeing, archery, and much, much more. We'll find time to Yodel 'n Hum (that means singing silly songs with crazy actions around the campfire) and we'll introduce you to Jug 'n Jog, everyone's favourite Camp Evergreen wide game! Sparks camp is a VERY fun half week ... it's a great introduction to summer camp, without being too much time away from home!
  • Yes, it’s true that this summer Camp Evergreen will be celebrating fifty years of God’s faithfulness and blessings. We want to invite you to camp on Saturday, June 29th or stay for the whole weekend from June 28th to 30th as we host this anniversary bash. This will be a family-orientated weekend with events planned for young and old.
  • Summer family camps at Camp Evergreen are tonnes of fun!
  • It's Rise Up time at Camp Evergreen again. Rise Up is our Sr. High Youth Retreat for youth groups across Alberta.
  • Camp Director Stubby (aka Gery Schubert: the man of a thousand voices, a hundred faces, and at least twelve wigs) cordially invites all you “campers” to the Fourth Annual Camp Evergreen "THE LOVE CAMP" Fundraiser Dinner & Auction on November 9
  • Award winning Christian author Robin Jones Gunn joins us this year. Her eighty-two books, including the Christy Miller, Sisterchicks, and Katie Weldon series, have sold over four million copies. Robin will be joining us to share her heart for people and joy in life.
  • We've scheduled two more work days, Saturday April 12th and Saturday April 26th. We're looking for skilled and non-skilled volunteers to help us finish the cabins.
  • The "Race To The Finish" has started! Building on the momentum of Mennonite Disaster Service this past summer, Camp Evergreen has set a goal of finishing the remaining cabins in time for next summer. Quite simply we cannot finish this project on our own. We need you to join us and will be having several work days using as much volunteer labour as possible. To keep the materials supplied and to have as little (or no) debt as possible we would also ask that you consider donating as we make this final push for completion. Left to ourselves the task is daunting, but as we join together, keeping the vision alive and moving forward, we will finish this together!
